Great! Action!

5th graders are excellent actors and actresses. In the speaking time class, they have been working on a play called “The film star”. First, we watched the play and paid attention on the new vocabulary and its pronunciation. Later on, it was time to distribute the different characters and they started practising their part. They also had to decide their dressing up which is something they always really enjoy.

For the last two weeks, it’s been time for the acting, the most amusing part. All of them have worked hard and they have really memorised their perfectly! It’s been good fun and, for sure, we are going to repeat the experience!

Millorem la nostra velocitat

Els alumnes de 5è, dins les classes d'Educació Física, estan treballant activitats corporals diverses per a millorar la seva velocitat.

A cada sessió duen a terme diferents jocs i reptes motrius individuals i col·lectius on posen en pràctica i van progressant en aquesta qualitat física.

Paral·lelament, també estan activant i millorant la seva velocitat de reacció als diferents estímuls visuals i auditius que se'ls proposen, superant un conjunt de  reptes i jocs motors.

Com a activitat final, els grups classe treballaran en la creació i pràctica de nous jocs de velocitat elaborats per ells mateixos on intervinguin noves situacions-reptes de velocitat i la seva reacció, els quals tractaran de resoldre la resta de companys del seu grup classe.

ALL ABOUT ME

 The students of 5th grade have started doing Arts and Crafts and Speaking Time.

These two subjects are done at the same time, dividing the class into two groups. Each week, the groups alternate what they do.

The first week, we did the activity all together. We wanted to know what our students had done during the summer. The first session was the subject of Speaking Time. Students, orally, had to make their presentation in pairs. In that presentation, they had to say their names, their favourite food, their dream destination, what they like and don’t like, among many other things.

In the second session, they had to draw, creatively, everything they had explained in the previous session. In addition, they had to draw nine objects, places or people that had been special for them during last summer.

They really enjoyed designing their own iPads artistically!

TBL a 5è

Comencem un nou curs i un nou cicle amb nous companys i companyes. L’escola ha fet una aposta d’innovació aplicant el mètode TBL (Thinking Based Learning) i per això hem cregut que era un bon moment per treballar aspectes formals de l’expressió escrita d’una altra manera.

Hem fet una seqüenciació amb rànquing de la presentació de diferents expressions escrites i a partir d’aquí hem creat la nostra pròpia rúbrica d’avaluació, que ens servirà al llarg del curs.

És una bona manera de fer-nos conscients de quines característiques cal tenir en compte a l’hora de presentar qualsevol feina i treballar aquest aspecte durant del curs.

Una altra manera de fer és possible.
