This is the beginning of the story
that the students of 5th grade have been working on for the last two weeks in
the speaking time class. They have learned new vocabulary and its pronunciation;
they have prepared all the dressing up they would need for the acting and each
of them has studied and memorised his or her part. As always, it is an activity
they really enjoy doing and the results are great.
In the English class, we also try
to learn about the culture and traditions in the English spoken countries and
this story is a good example of it. Did you know that April 1st is
Fool’s Day? Nothing to do with our date, December 28th!
