Andy Warhol
was part of the Pop Art movement and he was famous for exploring popular
culture in his work, using brands like Coca Cola and Campbell's Soup. He used
pictures of famous people and repeated the same portrait over and over, but
using different colours and effects. During October, the students of 5th of
Primary made their own masterpieces. They used the iPad to
reproduce a portrait. Now they are using the colour pencils to be original
recreating a Cacaolat or Chupa chups drawing. They enjoyed a lot that
activity and learned a little bit more about Andy Warhol and the Pop Art. What
do you think about their work? I am sure we will enjoy watching them.
